Bring it onnnnn, 2010! :)

Wow! It's been 3 months since my last post. Ironic. I told myself I'd make time.

Anyway, it's a new year and I couldn't help but look back. 2009 was a great year despite the horrendous past I blogged about a few months back. Of course, those times made me feel even more blessed to have friends who stood by my side, who hugged me during times I needed them most, and empathized with me.

For those not in the know, I quit my job in October. I won't go into details as to why I left, but let me just say that it was a sad and happy day all at the same time. It was like letting go of a dream. However, I felt free. I was able to stand up for myself on my last day. I was able to say what I've been meaning to tell her. My only regret is that I left really wonderful officemates-turned even more awesome friends. Nevertheless, my leaving the office didn't hinder us from getting together once in a while :)

The year is now 2010... I may be stuck at home, but I'm relishing these moments. I'm pretty sure that when I pursue my career again I'll be my workaholic self once again. So right now, I'm going to read all the books and blogs I can, answer all personality quizzes when I'm bored, enjoy bonding with my family, change blog layouts for the new year, and meet with friends while I still have the time.

To my friends who'll accidentally stumble upon this post: Thank you, thank you, thank you and I love you! ♥
